Election Readiness: Your Candidate and You

Fellow members and supporters, we are all part of this movement for a reason. We looked at the direction of our country and felt a deep, guiding need for change.
We believe in core Canadian principles that feel ignored: individual freedom, personal responsibility, common sense, and respect for all.
It’s this belief that brought us here. But belief, on its own, is like a seed left in the packet. To see it grow, we must be the ones to plant it, water it, and prepare the ground.
The next election may seem far away, but in politics, the most important work happens long before the first lawn sign is officially placed. An election victory isn't a 30-day sprint; it's the final lap of a marathon. This marathon is run by everyday people, in every town and every riding across the nation. The results we see on election night are not decided in Ottawa; they are decided in our own neighbourhoods, on our streets, and in our community halls. They are decided by the hard work of preparation we do right now.
This is where you and your local candidate come in. Your local candidate is more than just a name you’ll see on a ballot. They are a neighbour who has stepped up to be the public face of our shared values. They have volunteered to carry our banner. But they absolutely cannot do it alone. They need a team—a strong, dedicated, local team. They need you.
Preparing our town for the next election isn't a mystery. It’s practical, hands-on work. It’s helping to identify supporters, one phone call at a time. It’s walking our neighbourhoods and knocking on doors, not to argue, but to listen and to share our message of a better way forward. It’s helping to organise small meet-and-greets, entering data so the team stays organised, or volunteering a few hours a week at the local riding association office. This is the essential work. This is how we build a foundation strong enough to support a winning campaign.
Don’t wait for the election to be called. Don't assume someone else will do the work. The time for us to make a difference is now. We have the principles. We have the message. Now, we need the action.
We urge you: contact your local PPC candidate or electoral district association today. Ask them a simple question: "How can I help?" Join them, and together, let’s get our town ready. Let's build the grassroots strength, one conversation at a time, that will turn our beliefs into a new and hopeful future for Canada.
PS: We are preparing our internet communications, emails, social media, etc, for the next election campaign. Please visit the My Account page on the national website to update your PPC Member Profile.
